We also offer a dedicated contact lens service led by a highly qualified contact lens specialist.
Led by Catherine Emslie (B Sc Hons; M C Optom) an optometrist with over 25 years’ experience, our team is well-known for being friendly, approachable and professional. Each of our dispensing opticians is professionally qualified and registered with the General Optical Council.
With the Emslie name above the door, we understand whole-heartedly the ethics of operating as a “family business”. And we recognise the importance of your whole family’s eye care too.
We know how much it means to be able to see well – a value that increases throughout each stage of our lives. That’s why we care so much about eye health and why we will carry out a thorough eye health check for you as part of your examination. These checks are repeated for each subsequent visit you make, so if any changes occur we can identify them as early as possible.
Our state-of-the-art equipment extends beyond our examination room. In recognition of our ongoing commitment to be at the forefront of technology, both in the products we dispense and the equipment we use, we have been awarded “signature status” by prestigious lens manufacturer, Essilor – an award made only to a very limited number of optometric practices.
In fact, we are one of only a few hundred optometric practices in the whole country to have invested in specific technology that enables us to prescribe Essilor lenses with a greater degree of accuracy and sharper definition than you are likely to have ever experienced before.
We are proud not only to have invested in such high quality equipment, but also to offer the highest levels of customer service. Our reputation for service excellence is reflected by a customer base built almost entirely on recommendation alone.
And we take pride in playing an active role within our local community, both from a personal perspective as well as a professional one.
Catherine Emslie is a member of both the General Optical Council and the Optical Committee for Surrey and, as a business, we are pleased to support the Surrey Association for Visual Impairment in their vitally important work.
